This page describes the basic terms for KimiVault. Purchase-provider terms also apply when buying a license.
KIMIKON e.U., Austria, support@kimikon.cc
KimiVault is a macOS app for locally encrypted storage of passwords, API keys, project notes, and similar records. The app is not provided as a guarantee of suitability for special regulatory scenarios.
Free Mode allows use with up to 5 active items. Basic and Pro are planned as lifetime licenses. Lifetime means the product lifetime of KimiVault, not the lifetime of a person. The license allows use of the purchased tier for as long as KimiVault is offered and supported for the relevant macOS platform.
One license is intended for up to three Macs you own. Activations can be reset through the license system or support when you change devices. Security and compatibility updates for supported versions are not exclusive to Pro. Pro additionally includes optional iCloud Sync and advanced sync, recovery, or workflow features. Taxes, currency, and payment terms are shown in checkout.
You are responsible for your master password, local device security, backups, and safe handling of exported backup files. If you lose your master password, KIMIKON cannot decrypt your local vault.
KIMIKON may improve the app, provide security updates, and change features where needed for stability, security, platform requirements, or product development.
Support is provided by email on a best-effort basis. A specific response time is not guaranteed unless explicitly agreed in writing.
To the extent permitted by law, KIMIKON is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss caused by lost passwords, insecure devices, faulty backups, or improper use.
